A few months ago, Martin had named an early leader for his services; TCU. While Martin still has a high interest in the Frogs, communication between he and the staff has slowed recently.
"I haven't really heard from TCU in a while," he said. "But, I'm keeping my options open."
The interest level could definitely change after Martin's achievements on the track. The junior won his district in the 100-meters with a 10.72 and also helped Dunbar's 4x100 and 4x200 relay team's advance to regionals.
It's that speed on the track that has caught additional program's eyes. One program in particular has Martin intrigued.
"USC is supposed to be coming by," Martin said. "They've said that they like my speed and they'll be coming to talk to me more."
Martin is putting his focus on track instead of recruiting at the moment. He will run this week at the Class 4A Region 1 meet held at Abilene Christian.
