English Set to See TCU

The TCU Horned Frogs will host the #30 DT in the country when Desoto's Bryce English steps on campus on May 3rd.

Bryce English was once a Texas Longhorn commitment but now the 5'11" 305 pound DT is looking for a new home. HornedFrogBlitz.com caught up with English and the big lineman says he's wide open at this point in the process.

"Basically I'm just open to anybody who's willing to offer me" he said. "Ever since I de-committed from Texas, I've had a couple of schools offer so I'm open to those schools."

With new offers on the table from Iowa and Arizona State, English could be on the verge of adding even more offers. Will TCU be one of the new offers? English hopes to know something Saturday when he visits Fort Worth.

"I'll be down there Saturday, May 3rd" said English. "That will be my first time to visit there so hopefully it goes well."

When it comes to making a decision, English isn't tipping his hand, but he says a few factors will weigh heavily into his final choice.

"Education is number one and then I want to see how the defense goes" he said. "I also want to see how good the coaches communicate with me so I can see if we're on the same page on how I want to play."

While it would be a bonus for English to play with some of his Desoto teammates if he were to receive an offer from TCU and commit, he says it won't factor into his decision in a big way. The Big DT will visit Notre Dame, Iowa and Arizona State in the near future.
