Profile: J.F. Thomas
HT: 6-4 | WT: 185
College Interest: Committed to TCU. Offers; Ohio State, Boise State, Nebraska

Eyeball test:
Thomas is a long receiver at 6-4, 185 pounds. Upon first look, it's easy to see why the TCU commit is generating some interest this week from some programs across the country.

A few weeks ago, Thomas was a little know prospect. Soon after he committed to TCU and soon after he was firmly on the radar of several teams. Just this week alone, Thomas has added offers from Ohio State, Nebraska and Boise State. Other programs including Notre Dame and Texas Tech have stopped by South Oak Cliff to watch the rising prospect. He catches the ball well; always using his hands instead of his body to bring in the catch. He also runs good, precise routes, particularly the post and flag routes. He's big enough to overpower smaller defensive backs on out routes; good ability to shield off defenders. Thomas also has exceptional jumping ability; terrific goal line threat.
