Behemoth Lineman Up to 4 Offers

The TCU Horned Frogs are in search of big bodies to hold the line and they've identified a one of the biggest in the state as a target. Galena Park North Shore's Tyler Moore spoke with to give the latest on his recruitment.

At 6'5" and 335 pounds, Tyler Moore is a big man. He has the type of build that's desirable for college coaches as they search far and wide for big bodies to man the offensive line. We caught up with the TCU target to get his thoughts on the recruiting process and here's what he had to say.

"It's going really good" said the big lineman. "I have to thank God in everything he has done and I just want to enjoy the ride."

After picking up an offer from BIG-10 member Illinois today, Moore stands at four offers. The others schools to step up with an offer are Minnesota, Louisiana Tech and North Texas. Although TCU has yet to offer, Moore says that he stays in regular contact with the staff.

"Yes sir, I talk to them regularly" he said. And when asked if he still has an interest in the Frogs, Moore replied "Yes, I talk to (Coach) Cross often and I talk to (Coach) Anderson a lot."

When discussing favorites, Moore says it's too early for anyone to be standing out but he knows what he's looking for in a program.

"Definitely (a good) coaching staff and the stadium experience" he said. "And good academics."

With summer fast approaching, the rising lineman hopes to hit up some camps and work on getting better as a player. While he hasn't decided which camps to hit up yet, he knows what he wants to work on to take his game to the next level.

"I'm working on my footwork and my explosion at the second level."

While Moore says he doesn't have a timetable to make a decision and that nobody is currently standing out to him, the talented lineman will continue to draw interest from more programs as the process wears on. Stay logged on to to watch the things unfold for Tyler Moore.
