A long time commitment to Mississippi State, Hines has continued to draw interest from programs nationwide. Clemson, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Miami, Louisville, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M and Utah are the among the schools that have offered.
TCU has shown interest in Hines since last summer and he and his dad attended one of TCU's mini-camps. Hines told HornedFrogBlitz.com last summer, before he rose to 24 offers, that TCU was one of his favorite schools. Nearly a year later, Hines says he's glad to finally receive an offer from the Frogs.
"I am extremely excited that I've finally received the TCU offer," Hines exclaimed. "Coach Cross and Coach Sharp offered me and they had been showing increased interest lately."
What else did the coaches have to say?
"They want me to come down this summer," he said.
Hines says he will visit TCU this summer along with a few other programs.
The talented linebacker says that while getting more interest from different programs is great, especially as a freshman, Hines says he can't get caught up in the recruiting process.
"It's great but I mostly just focus on school and improving my skill," he finished.
