Eboh On TCU's Radar

Southlake (TX) Carroll 2016 defensive back Obi Eboh is receiving interest from several schools including TCU.

Southlake Carroll 2016 defensive back Obi Eboh was one of many prospects who made big impressions last Saturday at TCU's skills camp.

Eboh was one of if not the tallest corner in attendance, but he showed the speed and agility that makes him a definite prospect to watch. On the day, Eboh ran 4.48 forty and did well in the one-on-one session as he broke up several passes.

Eboh felt he got the coaches' attention.

"I thought I had a pretty good day, I got to work with Coach Perry a lot one on one so that was really good," he said. "I've got to work on planting and driving faster but as far as being a bigger corner I think Coach Perry really enjoyed having me out."

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder doesn't have any offers to date, but he's receiving plenty of strong interest.

"I don't have any offers yet but I had a pretty big spring and I've been getting a little bit of interest from a couple of schools," he said. "Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Texas and Notre Dame (have shown interest) as well."

Eboh has visited TCU in the past (spring game) and is already building a good relationship with the coaching staff.

"I really like the coaches and how they coach and the atmosphere around here," he said. "I went to the spring game so I got to see the fans out here. It just feels like home; it's right down the road and I really like the way the coaches coach."

What is he looking for in a program?

"Basically where I feel where it's most like home," he said. "I also want a school that's not only prestigious athletically, but academically as well."
