Weatherford lineman drawing interest

Weatherford, TX 2015 prospect James Robinson has the size and ability to play on either side of the line of scrimmage. Several teams are showing the 6-6, 260-pounder interest.

It's been a few seasons since a prospect from Weatherford, TX has earned a D-1 scholarship. However, that could change with 2015 defensive/offensive line prospect James Robinson.

Robinson definitely has the size to play on either side of the line at the next level; measuring in at a solid 6-foot-6, 260-pounds. Robinson has started both ways on the Kangaroos' varsity since his sophomore season.

On the recruiting front, Robinson is hearing from a few programs.

"I'm hearing from Arizona, Texas Tech, Texas, TCU, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Arizona State," he said. "All are looking at me as a defensive lineman except Oklahoma State."

With interest building, Robinson says one program out of the several has discussed the possibility of an offer.

"Oklahoma State has talked about an offering me the most."

What does he think about the hometown Frogs?

"I like the school and the football team," he said. "I want to see more of them."
