What makes Hunter an impact player?

Chuck Hunter, or if you like a more sinister sounding name for your beastly DT, Chucky Hunter, is the glue to the defensive side of the ball for TCU. With a low center of gravity, and quick, powerful moves off the snap, Hunter wreaks havoc from his defensive tackle position. An emotional leader on the field, the senior 2nd team All-Big 12 defender has started 22 games in his career and played in 37. With that kind of experience, Hunter will be expected to lead a talented defensive unit that might be even better than last year's version.

Improving on a stellar junior campaign would put Hunter right in the thick of the Big 12 defensive player of the year race. With expectations high heading in to the 2014 season, Hunter could really see his NFL Draft stock soar if he were to help lead TCU to a Big 12 championship.

A fiery competitor on the field, the West Monroe HS (Louisiana) product has a motor that never stops. His style of play, combined with the overall speed of the TCU defense could help lead the Frogs to a stellar season.
