Commitment Live Report: Joe Broadnax

TCU defensive line commit Joseph Broadnax had a game against Seagoville Thursday night and was there to catch the action.

Player: Joseph Broadnax
School: Dallas Bryan Adams
Position: DT
Rank: No. 36 DT

At 6-foot, 305-pounds, Broadnax fits perfectly into the style of defensive lineman that have been successful at TCU. Broadnax has giant legs which allows for explosion off the line.

Bryan Adams lost a heartbreaker to Seagoville; 28-27. The Cougars scored with just over a minute remaining but an unsportsmanlike penalty forced the extra point attempt 15-yards back and unfortunately the point after was missed. As for Broadnax, he was a force on the defensive line as he lined up at all four spots throughout the game. Seagoville double-teamed Broadnax throughout the night when he lined up at DT. He sometimes drew triple teams. Once Seagoville noticed he was playing on the end, the Dragons made it a point to run the opposite way. Broadnax has a non-stop motor, never giving up on a play. He had several tackles on the night including 2 for loss. When he hits the opponent; he HITS them and you often hear it. If Broadnax continues to display the type of ability he showed on Thursday, he could definitely see the field early on at TCU.
