VIDEO: Dawson happy with defensive effort
Heading into Saturday's game against Minnesota, TCU coach Gary Patterson challenged his defense to limit the Gopher's strong rushing game to under 100-yards on the ground. That challenge was met as the Frogs held the rushing attack to just 99 yards on 39 carries. The Frogs limited David Cobb, who rushed for 220 yards last week to just 41 yards. The Frogs also forced five turnovers on the day that helped give the offense a short field several possessions. Leading the way on defense was senior linebacker Paul Dawson, who led the Frogs with 15 tackles including four tackles for loss. Dawson forced and recovered a fumble that led to a Frogs' score early on. The senior linebacker met with the media following the game to give his thoughts on his performance.
