Frogs Offer 2017 Four-Star Anderson

Frisco, TX 2017 OL Jack Anderson has been on TCU's radar for several months. On Monday, he received the news he'd been offered.

Frisco, TX offensive lineman Jack Anderson picked up his eighth offer on Monday night when TCU extended an offer to the 2017 four-star prospect.

TCU joins Arizona State, Arkansas, Arkansas State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Texas Tech and UAB in the pursuit of the 6-foot-4, 275-pound lineman.

Anderson has been on TCU’s radar for several months and was overjoyed to finally receive an offer from the Frogs’ coaching staff.

“It’s huge, I love the campus and staff,” he said of receiving the TCU offer.

The rising lineman had a chance to speak with his recruiter; Sonny Cumbie and Frogs’ offensive line coach Jarrett Anderson on Monday.

“Coach Cumbie offered; Coach Anderson was also there and we talked,” Anderson said.

Anderson was one of many highly regarded prospects in attendance last Saturday when the Frogs defeated then No. 3 Oklahoma; 37-33. Anderson was on the field following the game to see all of the emotion after the big win.

“The energy in the stadium was crazy,” he said.

Later this week Anderson plans to speak with Frogs’ head coach Gary Patterson to discuss the offer. The staff has already told him they’d like him to visit for more games.

“They want me to call again on Thursday to talk with Coach Patterson,” he said. “They want me to come up for some more games.”

When asked where TCU stands after extending the offer, Anderson summed it up in two words.

“Very high,” Anderson finished.
