TCU commits once again turned in big performances to help their teams get wins.

Jaelan Austin- South Grand Prairie

South Grand Prairie fell to 5-3 and picked up their first district loss in 8-6A with a 41-10 loss to nationally ranked Desoto. Austin did not play in the game. The Warriors district record fell to 3-1.

Joseph Broadnax - Dallas Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams fell to 2-5 on the season and 1-3 in district play with a 34-14 loss to district leading Carrolton Creekview. The Cougars didn’t a good job on defense, limiting Creekview to under 300 yards of offense. Broadnax recorded 10 tackles in the loss.

Alec Dunham - Coldspring

Coldspring won their fifth game of the season and remained perfect in district play with a 48-7 win over Diboll. The Trojans are now 2-0 in district and have outscored their last two opponents 76-7.

Darrion Flowers – Arlington Sam Houston

Flowers had one of his best games of the year as Sam Houston throttled FW Paschal, 75-19. Flowers rushed for 149 yards and a score on only 8 carries and caught 2 passes for another score. The win moves Sam Houston to 2-2 in district play.

Jeff Gladney - New Boston

New Boston won their sixth consecutive game and remained unbeaten in district play as they defeated Redwaterl 42-20. New Boston moved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in district with the big win.

Tre'vontae Hights- Yoakum

Yoakum bounced back from a tough loss to Cuero last week and evened their district record with a 46-40 OT win over Sinton. Hights accounted for four touchdowns and intercepted a pass in the win. The win moves the Bulldogs to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in district play.

Cordel Iwuagwu - Spring Westfield

Spring Westfield continues to overpower anyone in their way, rushing for 256 yards in a convincing 45-19 win over Klein Oak. It’s the Mustangs sixth consecutive win and they are alone in first place in district with a 4-0 record.

Tony James - Arlington Bowie

Bowie fell to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in district play with a tough 33-21 loss to Arlington Martin. The Volunteers led at halftime 15-14, but were outscored 19-6 in the second half. James tossed three touchdown passes in the loss.

Niko Small - Arlington Bowie

Small helped Bowie hold Arlington Martin’s passing game in check, but it wasn’t enough as the Volunteers fell short against the Warriors; 33-21. Bowie held Martin to just two completions for 45-yards through the air, but the Warriors rushed for 347 yards to get the win.

Jonathan Song- FW All Saints

All Saints got a scare from OKC Casady, but the Saints won their sixth consecutive game with a 35-25 win. The win keeps the Saints three-year undefeated streak in SPC play going. Song converted on all extra point attempts.

Jarrison Stewart - Mesquite Horn

Stewart caught a touchdown for the third consecutive game since returning from injury as Horn routed Richardson; 56-7. Stewart has 7 touchdowns on the season on 22 catches. Horn moved to 6-1 on the season and sits atop district 10-6A.

J.F. Thomas - Dallas South Oak Cliff

South Oak Cliff is on a row, winning their fourth consecutive game with a 36-14 win over Kimball. Thomas continues to have a huge year, catching a touchdown pass in yet another game. The Bears are tied at the top of district 13-5A play with a 3-0 record.

Semaj Thomas - FW Southwest

Southwest had another tough night on defense as they lost to FW Wyatt; 41-36. The Raiders allowed 478 yards of offense, including 441 yards on the ground. Colorado State commit Javonte Adams rushed for 184 of those yards.

Jonathan Marshall - Shepherd

Marshall and Shepherd bounced back from a district opening loss to Coldspring last week by putting on a nice defensive effort in their 28-6 win over Tarkington. The win gives the Pirates a 1-1 district record.

Brennen Wooten - Marble Falls

Wooten threw a 7-yard scoring toss with just 17 seconds remaining as Marble Falls had a come from behind 46-40 win over Leander. Wooten has money all night, completing 20-of-28 passes for 357 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also rushed for a score in the win .
