South Grand Prairie fell to 5-4 and 3-2 in district with a 49-28 loss to Julius Lewis and Mansfield. Austin did not play in the game which is the second consecutive game he’s missed this season.

Bowie kept their playoff hopes alive with a 41-23 win over Arlington last week. With the win the Volunteers moved to 3-2 in district play. James passed for a touchdown and ran for one to lead Bowie’s attack.

Mansfield evened their district record to 2-2 with a big 49-28 win over South Grand Prairie. The win keeps the Tigers’ playoff hopes alive. Lewis had touchdown runs of 20 and 70-yards in the win. The road gets tougher as they travel to Cedar Hill this Friday.

All Saints wrapped up SPC play with a 49-34 win over Tulsa Holland Hall which moved them to 7-2 on the season and 7-0 in SPC play. It was the Saints seventh consecutive win. Song booted seven extra points in the win.

Stewart had a career day as Mesquite Horn remained perfect in 10-6A play with a 43-19 win over North Mesquite. Stewart hauled in 4 touchdowns on the night and had another called back due to penalty. The Jaguars moved to 7-1 on the season and 5-0 in district play.
