Boykin is joined on the finalist list by Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott.

TCU is currently second in the nation in scoring offense at 45.9 points per game and ranks fourth in total offense, averaging 541.6 yards per game.

As a finalist for the O’Brien award, Boykin will travel to Orlando, Florida on Dec.11 for the Home Depot College Football Awards.
