First Look: Riley Anderson

HornedFrogBlitz.com takes a look at 2016 offensive tackle Riley Anderson.

Player: Riley Anderson
School: Mineola
Position: OT
Rating: NR
Rank: NR

EYEBALL TEST:

Anderson has a nice frame at 6-foot-5, 275-pounds and moved very well for a kid his size.

GAME EVAL:

Anderson is the twin brother of Austin Anderson, and the duo combine to give Mineola a nucleus on the offensive line. Riley lined up at left tackle for most of the game against Cameron Yoe last week in the state championship. Anderson already has the size to be a next level lineman, but his ability should land him on several radars within the next year. He's got a great reach and displayed good footwork against some quality rushers. Like his brother, Anderson also has the ability to pull on some plays, all the way from left tackle to runs on the right. He showed great agility and didn't seem to tire easy. Anderson also does a great job of staying with his blocks and finishes them off, often times with a devastating pancake block. Overall, Anderson is definitely the top Class 3A lineman I've seen this year and one of the better overall, regardless of classification.
