San Angelo (TX) Central quarterback commit Brennen Wooten has been on a mission this summer and is ready to kick-off his senior season.
“Workouts were great. It was awesome to grind with my team this season and get ready for my senior year. I worked out a lot with my quarterback coach and also hit up a few TCU camps. ” Wooten said.
If his senior season is anything close to what his sophomore and junior seasons were like Central fans will be more than happy. As a sophomore, Wooten passed for 3,100 yards and scored 33 touchdowns. Not to be outdone, his junior season saw him throw for 3,218 yards and 33 total touchdowns.
Wooten spent the summer getting better in all areas of his game.
“I’m not perfect at anything,” he said, “My goal is to get as close to perfect as I can.”
Central will be on the road August 21st in a controlled scrimmage against Abilene Cooper then a week later they face off against Del Rio.
