Commit Refresher: Running Back

With the camps kicking off this week for all levels of football that means signing day is getting ever so close. Let's take a look at the lone running back commit..

Trayveon Williams, C E King, 5-10 190

One of the top running backs in the state, Williams is an explosive runner with speed and quickness. As a junior, Williams had 240 carries for 2,391 yards and 25 rushing touchdowns. Those impressive numbers followed a sophomore season that saw him hit the 1,000 yard mark on half the carries. Both seasons Williams earned post season accolades – was District 19-4A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore and as a junior was named District MVP and 1st team All VYPE Houston.

One thing he has worked extremely hard on this past off-season and summer is catching the ball out of the backfield which should help him build on his 20-yards per catch average and five scores that he saw in the 2014 season.

Committed to the Frogs back on May 29th, the Scout Four-Star has a solid list of offers ranging from out-of-conference schools to Big 12 schools such as Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
