Charges against TCU Football Players Dropped

According to reports, the charges against Mike Tuaua and Andre Petties-Wilson have been dropped.

The felony robbery charges against TCU defensive end Mike Tuaua and wide receiver Andre Petties-Wilson have been dropped, according to WFAA.

The two were arrested last week for assaulting three students at an off-campus party and stealing a case of beer, but according to Fort Worth Police Sgt. Steve Enright, the victim no longer wants to press charges.

"The victim has refused to pursue criminal charges,” Enright told WFAA. “The case has been closed.”

This news comes just two says after TCU head coach Gary Patterson told Horned Frog Insider that both Tuaua and Petties-Wilson cleared the university's judicial review and are now back practicing with the team after serving a three-game suspension. But Patterson would not say whether or not either player would play in Saturday's game against Texas.
