TCU 2016 and 2017 Commits Performances For Week Ten

For the second week in a row, TCU commits fought Mother Nature and still put up solid performances.


Austin Myers | OL | Manvel --- Myers anchored an offensive line that did its part in putting up almost 530 yards of offense against Pasadena Memorial – averaging 10.6 yards a rush attempt. 

Brennen Wooten | QB | San Angelo Central --- It took overtime, but San Angelo Central defeated rival Midland Lee, 37-31. Wooten finished the long night going 9-for-27, 156 yards passing, a touchdown and two interceptions. He also added a 117 yards and a score on six carries.  

Clifton Lewis | LB | Fort Bend Hightower --- Undefeated and looking for another win before heading into a Week 11 bye-week, Hightower’s defense held its own in a 38-20 victory over Fort Bend Kempner. Kempner averaged 4.3 yards a rush and had just 109 yards through the air. 

Courtney Lark | WR | Bellaire --- Lark had one reception for 3 yards in Bellaire’s 45-12 drumming of Houston Chavez. 

Deriq King | QB | Manvel -- at Pasadena Memorial --- Manvel continues to roll with King as the trigger man, beating Pasadena Memorial 65-10. In the blowout win, King went 11-for-14 for 182 yards with three touchdowns to three different receivers. He also added 63 yards on the ground. For the season the quarterback has 30 touchdown passes and just two interceptions. 

Dylan Thomas | ATH | Fort Worth Paschal --- Thomas did not play vs. Arlington Bowie. 

Gary Overshown | DE | Mesquite Horn --- The Horn defense played its best game of the season limiting Richardson Pearce to just 38 total yards of offense. 

Isaiah Chambers | DE | Aldine MacArthur --- Chambers sealed MacArthur’s 30-22 victory over Aldine with a safety with 19 seconds remaining in the contest. He ended the night with 13 solo tackles. 

Isaiah Graham | WR | Bastrop (LA) --- Bastrop moves to 7-2 on the year with a 49-8 win over district rival Grant (LA). 

Kellton Hollins | OL | Zachary (LA) --- Zachary stays undefeated in district with a 49-27 win over Baton Rouge Central (LA). The Broncos tallied 388 yards of offense – 177 on the ground, 211 through the air. 

KeShawn Somerville | DB | Henderickson --- Henderickson suffered a hard fought loss to the hands of Cedar Ridge, 25-14, after torrential rain forced the game to be postponed to Saturday afternoon. 

Mat Boesen | DE | Long Beach C.C --- Riverside went to the air, passing for 342 yards, to get a 34-14 victory over Long Beach City College. In the loss, Boesen collected eight tackles. The loss also snapped LBCC’s 10-game winning streak. 

Sewo Olonilua | LB | Humble Kingwood --- Kingwood moves to 6-3 overall, 4-1 in district with a 21-0 shutout victory over The Woodlands College Park. College Park managed just 45 yards of offense on the night. 

Taj Williams | WR | Iowa Western C.C. --- Williams paced the Reivers with eight catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-14 rout over Fort Scott. 

Trayveon Williams | RB | C.E. King --- In a hard-fought 38-27 victory over Kingwood Park, Williams continued his onslaught through opposing defenses with 154 yards and a score on 22 carries. He also caught three passes for 34 yards. 

Tyler Brown | OL | Lexington (OK) --- Lexington won its second game in a row with a 22-21 victory over Dibble (OK). 

Vernon Scott | DB | Mansfield Summit --- In a battle of unbeaten, Summit’s defense gave up 513 yards of offense - 300 through the air, 213 on the ground – in a 55-35 loss to Mansfield Lake Ridge. 


Shawn Robinson | QB | Denton Guyer --- In Guyer's 52-14 victory over Timber Creek, Robinson went 10-for-25 for 184 yards and a touchdown through the air and had 13 rushes for 160 yards and a score on the ground. 

Wes Harris | OL | Aledo --- Aledo racked up 450 yards of offense and clinched a district title with a 68-0 win over Granbury.
