Staff Picks: TCU vs Kansas

The Horned Frog Insider staff makes their predictions for the Frogs' Saturday matchup with the Jayhawks.

Brad Hardcastle: Kansas is really bad this year, so bad that they may never win a game. I think it's a given that TCU will win this game, comfortably. But by exactly how much? I have my doubts that Josh Doctson will play this game, despite his "probable" status. Without Doctson, TCU loses its number one scoring threat. However, I think Listenbee will have a big game, same with KaVontae Turpin. I also expect TCU's ground game with Aaron Green and Kyle Hicks will be effective as well. I think this TCU team is ready to take its anger out on someone after losing to Oklahoma State, unfortunatly for the Jayhawks, they're that team. Final score prediction: TCU 58, Kansas 7.

Mike Garland: If TCU had of pulled of a win last week, I'd say this could of been a trap game with Oklahoma and Baylor looming... Could of. That's simply not the case anymore. Boykin and TCU right the ship and get a much needed win. Kansas has been reeling lately being outscored 179-37 in their previous three games. Look for TCU to increase that margin. Boykin spreads it around and the running game gets going while the defense has one of their best games in a while. Final score predicition: TCU 58, Kansas 10.

J.D. Moore: Kansas is a bad team that's somehow played TCU close the past three years. However, this is a historically bad Kansas team that shouldn't give the Frogs any sort of trouble. TCU's out for revenge after the gut punch the Oklahoma State game was, expect Boykin and company to be off the field by the third quarter. TCU wins big, 66-14.
