Brad Hardcastle: I think Trevone Boykin gives the Horned Frogs a serious advantage in this game since Baylor is down to its 3rd string option. But really, they key here is for TCU's defense to be able to limit Baylor in the passing game. Cory Coleman and K.D. Cannon will burn you if you don't keep up with them step for step. TCU can't afford to give up thjose big plays, and if they do, they have to be able to make big plays on offesne. Even with Boykin back, that will be hard to do without Doctson. However TCU does have an advatage with the running game since the Bear's starting tailback Shock Linwoood will not play today. Eben though Baylor has a decent defesnive line, it has struggled to stop the run all year long. And with the cold and rainy weather, I wouldn't be surprised if Gary Patterson decided to try to pound the ball fo the majoirty of the game.
Needless to say, I think this will be a close one. Both teams are playing for a lot here in one of the most looked forward to rivalries in all of college football. I say TCU has the homefield advatage and wins it in the end. Final score predicition: TCU 45, Baylor 42
J.D. Moore: This isn't Russell vs. Boykin. It's not Doctson vs. Coleman. It's not the Revivalry we all expected. However, you're a fool if you don't expect these two to not reach the over. In a slogfest in the rain and muddy grass, this will be pickup, fun backyard football at its best. This game will have points all over the place, and either team is capable of winning. The final score will be somewhere around 73-66, and I'll take TCU solely because of homerism.
Mitchell Stehly: Wow. It's finally here. It should be a wet one in Fort Worth and I think that benefits TCU. The biggest mismatch for the Frogs defense is the TCU secondary going up against Corey Coleman and the Baylor wide recievers. The rain could help neutralize that. I'm expecting a really weird, sloppy game. Baylor is on their their string quarterback and Trevone Boykin is banged up. With the sloppy weather and questions at quarterback, I'm expecting both teams to look to the run game.
