Lucas Niang Chooses TCU

The Horned Frogs added its 22nd member of its 2016 recruiting class when Lucas Niang announced his decision on Monday. Read to learn more about him.

Three-star offensive tackle Lucas Niang announced on Twitter that he will begin his college football career as a Horned Frog. 

Niang pikced the Frogs over Miami and Auburn. He also received offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Syracuse, Rutgers and Kentucky. 

Scout ranks the New Caanan High School senior as the best offensive tackle in Connecticut and the 40th best at his position in the class of 2016. 

Niangs stands 6-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 290 pounds. Scout recruiting analyst Brain Dohn says that Niang is a verstaile lineman who can pull from the left tackle position. He doesn't play eleite competition, but has dominanted his opponents. 

With Niangs pledge, the TCU now has 22 commitments in its 2016 recruiting class.
