TCU head coach Gary Patterson and staff took advantage of new social media rules regarding recruiting on Monday morning, allowing college coaching staffs more freedom to retweet and favorite recruits on Twitter.The relaxed rules went into effect at midnight. Immediately Patterson, along with staff members, started to retweet recruit offer announcements and commitment announcements at a staggering rate.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Crabtree, Patterson was actually in the office, unlike some coaches across the country who allow recruiting staff to handle their social media efforts.
Immediately staff praised Patterson after the announcement on social media that he was in the office.
