TCU football might be trying to gain momentum back on the field after a double-OT loss to Arkansas last weekend, but judging by Saturday’s official visitor list, recruiting hasn’t lost any momentum.
The Frogs will host two four-star players on Saturday, both who are already committed to the program.
Both Aledo and DeSoto have bye weeks on their high school schedule.
TCU’s third visitor will be Texas corner commit Josh Thompson, a story HornedFrogInsider.com broke on Tuesday. A former Frog commitment, Thompson will likely get an earful from Harris and Robinson.
“Thompson has shown excellent straight-line speed as well as good lateral quickness and hip turn,” said Scout.com Texas recruiting analyst Gabe Brooks. “He’s physical player who can fight through receivers' perimeter blocks vs. the run. He’s the type of player who could become a dangerous blitzer if used that way. He’s always around the ball and possesses the ability to chase down receivers in coverage if beaten off the line.”
Thompson flipped on the Frogs in late July, only after picking up a Texas offer a few days prior.
