TCU head coach Gary Patterson hinted on social media days on Monday of a new addition to TCU's class. You had to figure it was someone not anyone's radar.
The Frogs landed Lutcher high school (Louisiana) wide receiver Al'dontre Davis on Wednesday. While on crutches at a National Signing Day presser, he signed with the Frogs over offers from LSU, Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M and Tennessee throughout the process.
After news leaked on social media, Davis shared a commitment tweet.
The day was just getting started for the Frogs. Beyond keeping their commits in the fold, TCU landed three-star offensive lineman prospect Quazzel White ( Tacoma, Washington) and defensive end Terrell Cooper (Lindale, TX).
White chose TCU over Boise State and Washington State, with a handful of other smaller offers in hand.
Cooper received an offer from TCU in the 11th hour and picked the Frogs over Arkansas State, Memphis and North Texas. TCU was by far his biggest offer.
