Dallas (Texas) Bishop Lynch athlete Jarek Broussard put up big numbers in 2016. On Saturday, he was rewarded for his efforts.
"I thought it was gonna be like every other junior day where they show interest, but not that much," said Broussard. "It was totally opposite. TCU showed me major love."
The Frogs were the 2018 prospect's first offer in hand. Schools such as Oklahoma State and Baylor are showing interest as well.
Broussard was named to the 2016 TAPPS Division 1 first-team as a receiver. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect racked up 2,478 all-purpose yards, finding the end zone 23 times. He was Bishop Lynch's MVP. The Friars won a state title.
"Honestly I feel really slept on at this point," said Broussard. "I mean there's nothing I can do except grind and stay patient, but for sure I knew something was coming soon from somewhere or someone."
Broussard describes himself as a electrifying playmaker and a raw athlete.
