TCU will host local product Dashaun White this weekend

TCU will host a local product this weekend.

Richland Hills (Texas) outside linebacker Dashaun White will visit TCU on Saturday. The three-star prospect currently boasts offers from Arkansas State, Colorado State, Houston, Louisiana Tech, North Texas and Tulsa.

“White is one of the more physically imposing players in the area,” said national recruiting analyst Greg Powers. “He is that new age style of coverage linebacker who can combat today's fast-paced offenses. He is above average in coverage and will absolutely lay the wood. Once one major offer comes in many more will follow.”

White thinks that major offer might come this weekend.

“When things are said and done, I can already picture TCU in a top three,” said White, when asked how excited he is for the trip. “They are recruiting me heavy. If I leave without an offer I'd be surprised. A lot of love from them from hand written letters, to calls, to check ups. I think it will be good.”

According to, White recorded 114 tackles and three sacks in 2016. He also had an interception. In 20 career games at the varsity level, White has 202 career tackles.
