Coppell '19 standout DB Jonathan McGill plans TCU visit

Coppell high school 2019 four-star prospect Jonathan McGill says he will visit TCU this weekend.

Coppell (Texas) high school four-star 2019 safety Jonathan McGill will be at TCU on Saturday, watching the Frogs annual spring game.

"TCU is a good school both academically and athletically. They have a winning culture," said McGill. "Also I love how coach Patterson and coach Gonzalez actually coach. They let playmakers play and coach later."

McGill has 130+ tackles and seven interceptions in two seasons with the Cowboys. His plays has earned him offers already from SMU and Nevada.

"TCU isn't far from home, which helps my mom greatly," said McGill.

Back in January, McGill was the only prospect in the 2019 class to win MVP honors at the Dallas NLA.

"I can play both sides of the ball," said McGill. "I'm a ball hawk on defense and on offense whenever you need a play throw or run it my way."

We will catch up with the sophomore after his visit.
