FROM TCU MEDIA RELATIONS:
TCU has announced updates, featuring Big Ten members Ohio State and Purdue, to its future nonconference football schedules.
Instead of a home-and-home meeting in 2018 and 2019, the Horned Frogs and Buckeyes will play Sept. 15,
TCU and Purdue will meet in a home-and-home series in the 2019 and 2029 seasons. The Horned Frogs will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., in 2019, before hosting the Boilermakers in Fort Worth in 2029.
Ohio State and Purdue continue TCU’s stretch of upcoming Power Five nonconference opponents that also include Arkansas (2017), Cal (2020-21), Colorado (2022-23), Stanford (2024, 2027) and North Carolina (2025-26).
When facing Ohio State, TCU will be playing its fourth game at AT&T Stadium since the facility opened in 2009. The Horned Frogs defeated Oregon State and BYU in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, respectively, before dropping a 2013 decision to LSU.
TCU and Purdue will be meeting for the first time since 1970 and just the third time overall.
