Christian has landed a pair of highly sought after players that should inject considerable firepower into the TCU offensive attack.
Moss, a 6-2 guard with good all-around skills, comes to TCU from Christian Life Academy in Houston, where he averaged 14 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds per game. Moss previously attended North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, averaging 12 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds per game and Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, Maine, where he led his team to the Northeastern Prep School Championship, while averaging 12 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.
Rose, also a 6-2 guard, is a talented and explosive offensive player. He averaged 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 assists per game as a senior at Detroit Michigan's Finney High School and was just as good as a junior, averaging 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists per game. Rose was rated the second best player in the city of Detroit and one of the top five players in the talent-rich state of Michigan.
Rose and Moss both represent strong additions to the Horned Frogs' basketball team and should have fine collegiate careers ahead of them at TCU.
And if they are at all representative of the type of basketball talent that Jim Christian will be bringing to Fort Worth, Texas, TCU fans should be happy for a long, long time.
