*TCU and BYU are meeting for the third consecutive season on a Thursday.

*The Cougars hold a 5-2 lead over the Frogs in a series that began in 1987. BYU has a 2-1 advantage in Mountain West Conference meetings.

*TCU is 1-3 versus the Cougars in Fort Worth and 1-2 in Provo.

*A 51-50 overtime win in Provo in 2005 represents the largest come-from-behind win in head coach Gary Patterson's eight-year tenure as TCU's head coach. The Frogs trailed by 18 points, 34-16, with less than two minutes to play in the third quarter.

*Only three times in its 27-game MWC history has TCU allowed more than 28 points. The Cougars have done it twice, losing 51-50 in 2005 and winning 31-17 in 2006.
