Horned Frog football fans received great news on Sunday night. If Coach Patterson decides to take another coaching position this off-season, it will not be at Kansas State. Various media sources are confirming that Bill Snyder will be named the head coach at K-State tomorrow.

This will be Snyder's second stint with the program. He is already the most successful coach in Wildcat history, winning 135 games in 17 seasons. The stadium bears Snyder's name.

Gary Patterson, a former KSU walk-on, graduated from K-State in 1983 and served on Jim Dickey's staff as a graduate assistant in 1982.

Both of Patterson's coordinators are former Wildcat coaches – Dick Bumpas (1981-82) on defense and Mike Schultz (graduate assistant at KSU) on offense.
