Considered one of the best bowl games this season, it is no surprise that the Poinsettia Bowl's ratings skyrocketed 115% this year.

TCU's victory over Boise State last Tuesday drew a 3.2 national rating and 5.1 million viewers on ESPN. This is roughly 2.4 million more people than last year.

Numbers like that will only help the TCU football team. Once considered only a recruiting player in Texas. Nationally televised bowl games with this much attention, will help TCU's national recruiting efforts.

The win gave TCU's seniors a 41-10 record over four seasons and 11 wins for the third time in four years.

Coach Gary Patterson stated after the game, ""I've been talking about this group all year," They play hard. ... This is the winningest TCU group of seniors. I can't tell you how much we're going to miss them."
