Coach Matt Rhule revealed after Temple's 49-10 win over Tulane on Saturday that his quarterback, P.J. Walker, had suffered a separated shoulder in the Owls' season-opening victory over Penn State.
Not only did Walker finish the historic game against the Nittany Lions -- he didn't miss a snap the following week at Cincinnati, and he engineered the team's game-winning drive at UMass.
After a week off and a victory at Charlotte, Walker said he's feeling much better these days. And it showed in Saturday's Homecoming win over the Green Wave, in which the quarterback shrugged off three personal fouls committed against him by the visiting team, and posted one of the best passing games of his Temple career.
