Temple senior cornerback Tavon Young was in the middle of many of the big plays and storylines on Saturday night in the Owls' 24-20 loss to Notre Dame.
Young helped hold Fighting Irish standout Will Fuller to just five catches for 46 yards, though one of the catches went for 17 yards and the winning score with two minutes to play. The corner was actually playing cover-2 on the touchdown pass and wasn't directly responsible, but he and Will Hayes were the closest to Fuller when he made the catch.
Young was also called for a questionable pass interference on Notre Dame's opening scoring drive as Young and coach Matt Rhule indicated the flag was unjust.
Listen to Young talk about defending Fuller, the big plays in the game and Temple's outstanding overall effort in nearly upsetting the No. 9 team in the country.
