Temple junior running back Jahad Thomas has been feeling the effects of a long season.
Playing the role of feature back for the first time, a banged up Thomas has seen his practice time and playing time decrease because of the wear and tear on his body.
But he returned to practice full-time this week and in Temple's 27-3 win over Connecticut showed the burst that made him a breakthrough performance early in the season. Thomas ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on carries, posting his first 100-yard game in his last five.
