P.J. Walker talks about Temple's 24-13 loss to Houston in the AAC Championship Game

Junior quarterback completed 26 off 44 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown, but his early interception was pivotal in the Owls' defeat

HOUSTON - Seven times, P.J. Walker led the Temple offense inside the Houston 40 during Saturday's 24-13 loss to the Cougars in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game.  But the Owls managed to score only three times, which wasn't enough to overcome two early turnovers and two big runs by Houston quarterback Greg Ward -- all of which added up to a disappointing loss.

Yardage-wise, Walker had his second-best passing game this season.  And he didn't make many mistakes after tossing an interception on the opening drive of the ballgame.  But it wasn't enough.  The Owls will carry a 10-3 record into their postseason bowl game, which they will learn about tomorrow.
