The Temple coach cancelled practice when he saw a slip in attention to detail

The coach also addressed the response to a recent coaches' clinic and updates on some key players

Temple football coach Matt Rhule has been generally pleased with his fourth spring as head coach but he thought he saw a little slip in attention to detail as the spring headed into its second half.

The coach sent a message to his team by cancelling Tuesday's practice, saying they didn't earn the right. Instead the Owls will practice Wednesday, then resume their regular schedule of Thursday and Saturday.

Rhule also talked about the positive response to Saturday's coaches' clinic, which included visits from Jets coach and Temple alum Todd Bowles as well as Rutgers coach Chris Ash and what it did for the perception of the program.
