The Temple defense recorded just one sack and it wasn't a turnover-filled performance.
But in many ways, it was the Owls' best performance of the season in a 34-13 victory over Cincinnati.
The defense, which has given up many big plays, kept the Bearcats from converting one longer than 20 yards. And when the game was tight early in the third quarter, the Owls kept Cincinnati from scoring again as the offense and special teams put the game away.
Watch and hear what defensive coordinator Phil Snow had to say following a victory that head coach Matt Rhule noted was the first time all season the Owls held an FBS opponent under 20 points.
