Temple's Phillip Walker will climb under center at Lincoln Financial Field for the last time as an Owl

The senior will play his last home game in a record-setting career on Saturday night.

Phillip Walker, then known as P.J., took over as Temple's quarterback midway through a game at Lincoln Financial Field against Louisville as a freshman in 2013.

It's been his job ever since.

Walker is the school's all-time leader in attempts (1,365), completions (793), touchdowns (71), yards (9,916) and wins by a starting quarterback (26).

Walker will make one final appearance at Lincoln Financial Field as he takes the field Saturday night on Senior Day. It won't just be a ceremonial send-off either as the four-year starter can help Temple clinch the American Athletic Conference East Division title with a win over East Carolina.

Watch Walker talk about the end of his run as Temple's quarterback, the importance of Saturday's game and what his emotions might be like when he goes out on his home field for the final time in the video above.
