For the Owls to be successful Saturday, they will have to stop Navy's potent offense

Can the Owls slow down the Midshipmen and win their first conference championship?

Temple coach Matt Rhule admitted the Owls haven't performed particularly well against the triple option offense.

In the opening game of this season, Temple's defense got run over by the Army offense in an upset loss. And two years ago, Navy came to Lincoln Financial Field after the Owls were flying high off a win at Vanderbilt and took down Temple.

For Temple to win the American Athletic Conference championship game at Navy this Saturday, it will have to do a better job defending Navy's triple option than it has in its most recent attempts against the offense.

Watch the video interview above with Temple senior linebacker Jarred Alwan as he talks about what the Owls will need to do to be successful on Saturday.
