Temple interim coach Ed Foley talked about the Miltary Bowl and the coaching change

With the Military Bowl days away and a new coach on the way in, Temple interim football coach Ed Foley talked about the transition going on at Edberg-Olson Hall.

It's been a tumultuous week since Matt Rhule left Temple University to become the head coach at Baylor, and the Owls have their new coach: Florida defensive coordinator Geoff Collins.

Collins will be introduced at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at a press conference at the Liacouras Center.

But in the midst of the coaching change there is still a 10-win football team to coach and a bowl game in two weeks with a chance to earn win No. 11 and the mantle of being the best football team in Temple history.

Ed Foley was named interim coach after Rhule's departure and he will lead the Owis into the Military Bowl against Wake Forest on Dec. 27.

Scheduled media availability with players was canceled on Tuesday, but Foley met with the media to discuss Rhule's departure - the third of a head coach leaving at Temple Foley has been through - as well as the ongoing preparation for the bowl game.
