There weren't any Signing Day surprises from the Temple football program, which long ago locked up the majority of its 26 recruits.
With recent commitments from high-caliber defenders Adrian Robinson and Muhammad Wilkerson and offensive superstars Vaughn Carraway, Tony Cornelius, and Ahkeem Smith, the Owls capped a recruiting class that once again ranks at the top of the MAC – old hat for Coach Al Golden.
The Owls announced 26 signees on Wednesday, the first day of the National Signing period for college football. Included in that number are three mid-year transfers who have already enrolled at Temple – Josh Williams, Jared Williams, and James Nixon.
