IT picks the SEC

Four intra-league games spice up the Week 3 Southeastern Conference football schedule. Arkansas visits Georgia, Mississippi State visits LSU, Vanderbilt travels to Ole Miss and Florida travels to Tennessee.

InsideTennessee's crack panel of experts enjoyed considerable success in their Week 2 picks, going a combined 40-5. Dave Hooker and Chris Price went 9-0 each. James Bryant and this writer went 8-1 each due to missing on the UT-Oregon outcome. Publisher Josh Woodward checked in at 6-3.

That said, here are the Week 3 picks plus the year-to-date records:

Randy Moore (19-2)

ALABAMA AT DUKE: David Cutcliffe beat Bama four times in a row from 1995-98 but he had Peyton Manning playing QB three of those years. Bama, 49-20

ARKANSAS AT GEORGIA: I'd pick the Hogs if this game were in Arkansas. It's not. Dawgs, 34-31

CLEMSON AT AUBURN: Tigers vs. Tigers. Auburn has earned its stripes. Auburn, 27-17

AKRON AT KENTUCKY: The Wildcats continue their waltz through mediocre non-conference foes. UK, 38-14

MISS. STATE AT LSU: A Bulldog upset wouldn't surprise me. When Les Miles is on the sidelines, nothing surprises me anymore. Still ... LSU, 24-20

VANDERBILT AT OLE MISS: The Commodores might have a chance to win if this game were played in Nashville. It isn't. Rebels, 24-17

FURMAN AT S. CAROLINA: The Gamecocks will be flat after their big win over Georgia but it won't matter. Carolina, 34-7

FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE: Too many quality athletes wearing orange and blue; too few quality athletes wearing orange and white. Gators, 24-17

James Bryant (15-6)

ALABAMA AT DUKE: What a snoozer. Tide, 45-21

ARKANSAS AT GEORGIA: Arkansas will win this shootout, 45-41

CLEMSON AT AUBURN: Talk about another shootout. Clemson, 48-45

AKRON AT KENTUCKY: Kentucky is scoring a lot of points, won't be any different in this one. Wildcats, 52-21

MISS. STATE AT LSU: Tigers, 28-17

VANDERBILT AT OLE MISS: Vandy always plays Ole Miss tough. Rebels, 21-17

FURMAN AT S. CAROLINA: Gamecocks, 56-10

FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE: Well, Florida hasn't played well this year, Tennessee didn't play well in the second half last week against Oregon. Florida 24-21 in this one, again the Vols get worn down by lack of depth.

Dave Hooker (20-1)

ALABAMA AT DUKE: David Cutcliffe gets to meet his ole' alma mater. It won't be fun. Bama, 35-13.

ARKANSAS AT GEORGIA: Georgia can't score enough points to hang with the Hawgs. Arkansas, 35-20

CLEMSON AT AUBURN: Auburn survived an early season scare. Now the Tigers find their groove, 27-20

AKRON AT KENTUCKY: The Wildcats roll. That doesn't sound right. UK, 40-10

MISS. STATE AT LSU: Les Miles will lose a big game at home this season. Not this week. 30-18

VANDERBILT AT OLE MISS: Vanderbilt is Vanderbilt. Ole Miss, 42-9

FURMAN AT S. CAROLINA: South Carolina is unbeatable at home - against Furman. Gamecocks, 30-3

FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE: Call me crazy, but I smell an upset. Vols, 23-21

Josh Woodward (15-6)

ALABAMA AT DUKE: Alabama is off to the races, 38-10

ARKANSAS AT GEORGIA: 28-26, Arkansas in a close one

CLEMSON AT AUBURN: 34-28. Just another good day for the SEC

AKRON AT KENTUCKY: 45-7, Cats roll

MISS. STATE AT LSU: Tigers, 28-21. Another close one for the mad hatter

VANDERBILT AT OLE MISS: 20-17, Ole Miss at home

FURMAN AT S. CAROLINA: 35-3, Lattimore is for real

FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE: 34-31, Vols in a miracle

Chris Price (20-1)

ALABAMA AT DUKE: Nick Saban just doesn't let his teams play down to its opponents. Tide rolls to 3-0. Alabama, 38-3.

ARKANSAS AT GEORGIA: Mark Richt may not be on the hot seat in some people's minds, but this game might change their minds. Ryan Mallett and Arkansas take this one. Hogs, 31-17.

CLEMSON AT AUBURN: Gene Chizik's Tigers will look impressive again in their tussle with Dabo's Tigers. Auburn full steam ahead. Chizik's squad, 27-17.

AKRON AT KENTUCKY: The one that got away, Randall Cobb, blows up once again. Kentucky off to a 3-0 start under Phillips. Enjoy it while it lasts, Gators in week 4. Cats, 38-10.

MISS. STATE AT LSU: Dan Mullen's squad has a long week to prepare and stops the long run of almost wins and steals one in Baton Rouge. Les Miles is now officially on the hot seat. Dogs, 23-21.

VANDERBILT AT OLE MISS: Robbie Caldwell just can't catch a break. Ole Miss is still in rebound mode from their week one embarrassment. Rebels, 24-10.

FURMAN AT S. CAROLINA: Spurrier's team is still pumped from last week. They will struggle early, but rebound in a big way late. South Carolina, 38-17.

FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE: Different week, same story. The Volunteers will come out energized and play well early. Urban's Meyer's deeply ingrained winning culture shines through in the second half. Vols fall, 38-17.
