IT picks the SEC

If you've been wanting to do some Christmas shopping, this is the weekend to do it. Except for Alabama at LSU and Arkansas at South Carolina, this weekend's SEC football schedule is a joke.

Three SEC teams are facing foes from the Football Championship Subdivision: Georgia hosts Idaho State (1-7), Kentucky hosts Charleston Southern (2-6) and Auburn hosts Chattanooga (5-3). The other three slop-fests find Tennessee visiting Memphis (1-7), Ole Miss hosting Louisiana-Lafayette (2-6) and Florida visiting Vanderbilt (2-6).

Each of InsideTennessee's picks panelists went 6-0 last week except for James Bryant, who missed on Georgia's defeat of Kentucky. Dave Hooker has the season lead with a 56-11 record. Chris Price is a game back at 55-12.

Here are the Week 10 picks, plus the year-to-date records:

Randy Moore (52-15)

ALABAMA AT LSU: Nick Saban is despised in Baton Rouge. In fact, he's almost as unpopular there as Les Miles. Alabama 24, LSU 17

ARKANSAS AT S. CAROLINA: Tennessee lit up SC's secondary last week, and the Vols didn't have Ryan Mallett at quarterback. Hogs, 31-24

CHATTANOOGA AT AUBURN: Ex-Vol B. J. Coleman is averaging 282 passing yards per game for the Mocs. Not this time, though. Tigers, 42-14

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: The Gators finally got their act together last week vs. Georgia. Just Vandy's luck. Florida, 31-10

IDAHO STATE AT GEORGIA: Ho hum, part 1. Dawgs, 49-7

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT KENTUCKY: Ho hum, part 2. Wildcats, 48-14

LA-LAFAYETTE AT OLE MISS: Ho hum, part 3. Rebels, 34-10

TENNESSEE AT MEMPHIS: Vols get a refresher course in winning. Big Orange, 38-14

James Bryant (45-22)

ALABAMA AT LSU: This should be a good one. I expect it to be a defensive ball game with Alabama winning 24-17

ARKANSAS AT S. CAROLINA: This could be an offensive shootout. Can Arkansas pull off the upset? Yes, but will they? Maybe not. SC, 38-35

CHATTANOOGA AT AUBURN: Even if Cameron doesn't play, they should win by 30, 49-21

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: This may be closer than expected but I think Florida still wins 24-14

IDAHO STATE AT GEORGIA: Georgia will get a lot more confidence after this one, 48-28.

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT KENTUCKY: Kentucky needs a big win, they should get it 56-14

LA-LAFAYETTE AT OLE MISS: Ole Miss will get a lot of confidence, 35-21

TENNESSEE AT MEMPHIS: Air Bray should air it out, 48-14

Dave Hooker (56-11)

ALABAMA AT LSU: Both teams have talent. One has a competent head coach. The other has a horrible offense. Bama, 20-9

ARKANSAS AT S. CAROLINA: South Carolina doesn't have to win this game to be in Atlanta. Arkansas, 34-30

CHATTANOOGA AT AUBURN: There's thousands of reasons why Auburn will win this game. Tigers, 45-9.

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: Not a tough call. Gators, 45-10

IDAHO STATE AT GEORGIA: Another easy one. Georgia, 45-10

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT KENTUCKY: Still not tough. Kentucky, 45-10

LA-LAFAYETTE AT OLE MISS: Really? Ole Miss, 45-10

TENNESSEE AT MEMPHIS: Noticing a trend? Vols, 45-10

Josh Woodward (49-18)

ALABAMA AT LSU: Nick Saban goes back to LSU and pulls out the win. Alabama, 34-31

ARKANSAS AT S. CAROLINA: If Tennessee can throw the ball well against South Carolina, Arkansas ought to light 'em up. Arkansas, 38-28

CHATTANOOGA AT AUBURN: Will the Cam Newton distraction bother Auburn this weekend? At least they're just playing Chattanooga. Auburn, 48-17

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: With Vanderbilt losing its best rusher, Warren Norman, the Gators should have no problem beating up on the Dores. Florida, 42-10

IDAHO STATE AT GEORGIA: It smells like mashed potatoes at Georgia. Georgia, 42-10

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT KENTUCKY: Wildcats have no problems with Football Championship Subdivision foe. Kentucky, 52-7

LA-LAFAYETTE AT OLE MISS: The Black Bears get a big win over the Ragin' Cajuns. Ole Miss, 31-10

TENNESSEE AT MEMPHIS: Tennessee starts off November like normal, with a much needed win. Tennessee, 31-17

Chris Price (55-12)

ALABAMA AT LSU: LSU's defense will keep them in it for a few minutes, but Alabama is too strong. Tide, 24-10.

ARKANSAS AT S. CAROLINA: If Childs was still healthy I might take the Hogs, but he's not. Cocks win, 38-27.

CHATTANOOGA AT AUBURN: Is this really a game? Tigers, 51-10.

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: Florida wins, but its closer than the experts think. Gators, 24-16.

IDAHO STATE AT GEORGIA: Really? Dogs win easily. Georgia, 38-10.

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT KENTUCKY: Kentucky gains steam. Cats, 34-9.

LA-LAFAYETTE AT OLE MISS: Ole Miss takes care of business as they prepare for the Vols. Rebels, 45-16.

TENNESSEE AT MEMPHIS: Tennessee actually covers the spread on the right side. Vols win 38-17.
