IT picks the SEC

It doesn't get any better than this: You spend Thanksgiving stuffing yourself with turkey and dressing, then spend the rest of the weekend watching SEC football rivalry games.

The marquee game, of course, is Friday's annual Iron Bowl showdown between Auburn and Alabama. This year's matchup in Tuscaloosa features an unbeaten Tiger squad and a defending national champion Tide team.

The rest of the slate is almost as appetizing - LSU vs. Arkansas in Little Rock, Florida at Florida State, Georgia Tech at Georgia, Mississippi State at Ole Miss and Kentucky at Tennessee. The lone game that lacks intrigue is Wake Forest at Vanderbilt.

InsideTennessee's picks panel went a combined 28-2 on last week's predictions - the two misses coming because Josh Woodward and Dave Hooker tabbed Mississippi State to beat Arkansas. Hooker and Chris Price lead the picks panel with matching 73-15 records.

Here are the Week 13 picks, plus the year-to-date records:

Randy Moore (71-17)

AUBURN AT ALABAMA (Friday): There's no storybook ending for Cam Newton's fairy tale. Tide, 31-27

LSU VS. ARKANSAS (Little Rock): Les Miles has a great defense but Bobby Petrino has too many weapons. Hogs, 27-23

FLORIDA AT FLORIDA STATE: I know they're struggling but I just can't see the Gators finishing 7-5. Florida, 27-24

GEORGIA TECH AT GEORGIA: Like UT, Georgia needs a win to finish 6-6 and qualify for a bowl bid. Dawgs, 34-28

MISS. STATE AT OLE MISS: Dan Mullen's boys cap off an 8-4 season with a bang. Bulldogs, 34-20

SOUTH CAROLINA AT CLEMSON: Looks like Spurrier has solved the late-season blues. Cocks, 31-21

WAKE FOREST AT VANDERBILT: When a pair of 2-9 teams collide, anything can happen. Commodores, 24-20

KENTUCKY AT TENNESSEE: I still had black hair the last time the Big Blue beat the Big Orange. Vols, 34-31

James Bryant (62-26)

AUBURN AT ALABAMA (Friday): Alabama will ruin Auburn's somewhat of a perfect season. Tide Rolls 31-28
