Clifton still working through injuries from hit

Chad Clifton is still not over the brutal hit he sustained from Tampa Bay defensive tackle Warren Sapp. Clifton is forced to work and wait to get back out on the football field, while doctors attempt to correct his nagging injuries.

Offensive tackle Chad Clifton may need to have arthroscopic surgery on his elbow, according to Packers coach Mike Sherman.

"(Clifton) may have a little bit of a bone chip in his elbow," Sherman said. "They're (team doctors) are waiting for it to move a little bit. If not, he may have to get scoped on the elbow."

Clifton is rehabbing from a severe pelvic injury sustained last Nov. 24 when he was flattened from a blind-sided block by defensive tackle Warren Sapp. Clifton also underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in January.
