One top Tennessee prospect in 2012 has only been playing the game of football for three years.
It's obvious that Caleb Azubike of McGavock High School in Nashville has a lot of upside when it comes to play football at the college level.
The talented defender has picked up two offers already and is expecting more in the near future.
"Vandy and Boston College has offered so far," Azubike told InsideTennessee.com. "I was very excited and very relieved when I got my first offer. It showed my hard work is paying off."
Azubike is listed at 6-foot-5, 240-pounds with a 4.6 time in the forty yard dash.
There is apparently another school Azubike is hoping to get a scholarship offer from.
"I'm a big Tennessee fan," Azubike said. "Their coaching staff wanted me to come up for junior day but I couldn't get a ride."
Azubike plans on making the trip to Knoxville in the near future. He is planning on attending Tennessee's Spring Football game and InsideTennessee.com's Combine and Skills Camp on April 16 and April 17 respectively.
"I can't wait to see their spring game," Azubike said. "I'm also looking forward to attending the combine in Knoxville. I will be there."
It appears that Azubike has caught the eyes of Derek Dooley and his staff.
"They keep telling me they like me a lot," Azubike said. "I want to get to know them a lot better. I grew up loving the Big Orange."
Azubike also plans on attending several camps this summer.
