Spring time is the time for some high school football players to visit college campuses and participate in combines and camps.
"On spring break I went up and visited Vandy, MTSU and UAB," Kimbrow told InsideTennessee.com. "Those campuses were ok, I want to see a lot more."
Kimbrow admitted that he had planned on visiting the state's biggest school last weekend, the University of Tennessee.
"I was suppose to go up to Knoxville last Friday," Kimbrow said. "My ride didn't come through. That's the only reason I didn't make the trip."
Kimbrow has heard message board rumors that he isn't interested in Tennessee, he explained that wasn't the case at all.
"Yeah I'm hearing those rumors," Kimbrow said. "Those rumors aren't true. I don't know where they are coming from. I like Tennessee a lot."
How much does Kimbrow like the Vols?
"A lot, they are still very high on my list," Kimbrow said. "I now have over 27 offers, I'm wanting to keep all my options open right now until I see a lot of campuses. I haven't eliminated anyone, especially not Tennessee."
It appears one reason that the Vols are very high on Kimbrow's list is his relationship with Tennessee wide receiver coach Charlie Baggett.
"I talk to Coach Baggett at least once a week," Kimbrow said. "He is really a cool guy, very easy to talk to."
Kimbrow has also been busy using his speed in another sport.
"I'm running track this spring," Kiimbrow said. "I'm doing really well."
Kimbrow has ran in two track meets and has won first place in both 100 meter races and his 400 meter relay team is also undefeated.
"I have ran a 10.7 in one of the 100 meter races," Kimbrow said. "That race was against a pretty strong wind." Kimbrow is planning on attending Tennessee's Spring Game and the InsideTennessee Combine and Skills camp the same weekend.
