InsideTennessee Combine and Skills Camp

InsideTennessee.com will hold its first Annual Combine and Skills Camp this Sunday April 17th at the D1 Indoor Training Facility in Knoxville.

The combine and skills camp will begin at 11 a.m. and will end at 3 p.m.

All freshmen, sophomore, juniors and upcoming seniors in the Fall of 2011 are invited to attend from in state and surrounding areas.

According to InsideTennesse.com Owner Josh Woodward, he and his staff is expecting a large turnout.

"With Tennessee's spring game being on Saturday, it's our hope that we will have a big turnout at our event," Woodward said. "It's a great facility and will be a great venue for our first annual event."

Not only will all participants go through normal combine testing in the 40, 20 yard shuttle run, L Drill, and vertical leap, they will also be tested in the bench press.

All results will be posted on InsideTennessee.com for all college coaches to view.

After testing is completed, all campers will participate in position skill drills, before competing in some team 7-on-7 competitions.

Three awards will be handed out for the fastest man, the Most Impressive Underclassmen and the overall top performer of the event.

All combine participants will get photos taken for their Scout.com profiles and a profile will be built for all campers.

The cost for each camper is $40.00 if you pre-register and $45.00 the day of the event. Each participant will receive a InsideTennessee Combine T-Shirt, lunch after the combine and a free D1 Trial pass.

Several recruiting analyst, writers and photographers from InsideTennessee and Scout.com will be on hand for the event for evaluations and interviews.

Two of Tennessee's top athletes and top speed guys Brian Kimbrow and Will Redmond have both confirmed they will be in attendance.

"We have athletes from Arizona, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina coming to the combine," One camp official confirmed. "Some of Tennessee's best athletes are also expected to be here."
